It’s literally just that simple…

STOP BEING LAZY!!!

This is a subject where all you have to do is TRY. I didn’t say be smart or be tall or be rich. I said JUST TRY!

We here at The Ultimate Fundraiser HATE LAZY people! Anyone disagree with that statement??? Then you are probably LAZY yourself. And if you are, don’t be. It’s just that easy.

Life is short. Don’t just sit back and be one of those people in their 80’s or 90’s starting EVERY sentence of with “I wish I would have…”. By then, it’s way too late.

Look, this blog can’t be anymore blunt, honest or obnoxiously straight forward. Just TRY. And if you are one of those people who give their 110%, then you must know a TON of people around you who are LAZY and could benefit from the quotes below. Please send this to them and you MIGHT just impact their lives where all they have to do is TRY!!!

Let’s see how many LAZY people you can share this blog with.

Better than a thousand hollow words, is one word that brings peace.

-Buddha

Peace cannot be kept by force; it can only be achieved by understanding.

-Albert Einstein

I refuse to accept the view that mankind is so tragically bound to the starless midnight of racism and war that the bright daybreak of peace and brotherhood can never become a reality… I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word.

-Martin Luther King, Jr.

If you want peace, you don’t talk to your friends. You talk to your enemies.

– Desmond Tutu

It’s International Day Of Peace

Today is a special day, it’s the International Day Of Peace. It probably will not be of much significance to those that live in peaceful and conflict-free regions of the world. Each year the International Day of Peace is observed on September 21st. The UN General Assembly has declared this as a day devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace among all nations and also within countries.

The theme this year for the International Day Of Peace is  “The Sustainable Development Goals: Building Blocks for Peace.”

“The 17 Sustainable Development Goals were unanimously adopted by the 193 Member States of the United Nations in New York in September 2015. The new ambitious 2030 agenda calls on countries to begin efforts to achieve these goals over the next 15 years. It aims to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure prosperity for all. The Sustainable Development Goals are integral to achieving peace in our time, as development and peace are interdependent and mutually reinforcing. Every single one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals is a building block in the global architecture of peace.”

Positive Quote Of The Day: Follow Your Heart By Steve Jobs

Tags

,

Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.

Does It Matter To Your Success Whether You’re An Extrovert Or Extrovert

Tags

, ,

Does it matter to your success whether you’re an introvert or extrovert? No, I don’t think success cares. It just rewards the hard workers amongst us, the daring ones, the ones that are willing to fight our fears and forge ahead despite the fear of failure and all the other fears that hold us back.

extrovert-introvert image

Yes, extroverts do have the advantage of their mostly great personalities when it comes to dealing with people – making that sales call, being good at working the room at a networking meeting. But there are things that they have to learn too, and perhaps be more like an introvert –  like learning when to shut up and let the other person talk, that you have to also be a good listener to be a good conversationalist.

introvert versus extrovert

Although there are some professions where it’s not necessary to give up your introversion, which are jobs that require you to work in isolation, there’s one area where introverts have to learn to be more of an extrovert – when you have your own business/are a business owner. This is necessary extroversion that is required to interact with your clients and others in business dealings. And this type of extroversion is a behavior that can be easily learned. Most of us realize this on our own at some point in our lives and adapt some extrovert ways in order to get closer to our dreams. One of the secrets of interacting with other people, is to remember that people love to talk about themselves, so get curious and ask them questions. This will also keep the attention off of you and make you feel more comfortable.

If you study the most successful people you will find that there are successful people amongst both extroverts and introverts, at the end of the day, it was their grit, determination, hard work and sacrifice that took them where they are today. So, don’t worry, especially if you’re an introvert, it is more than likely that you’re the one that has this worry. Just keep your eyes on your goal and do everything and more you have to that will bring you closer to your goals. So it does not matter to your success whether you’re an extrovert or an introvert, NO, it just matters how you apply yourself and how hard you work. And whether you’re an extrovert or extrovert, there are times you have to adapt to the style of the other.

NO EXCUSES!!!

Tags

, , , , , , ,

We are writing about this today because we just hear about this WAY too much! I mean its one thing to make an excuse every once in awhile, but not all the time. And making an excuse is just a thing that is standing in your way.

There are a lot of people out there (around us or it might even be yourself), that make excuses all the time. You shouldn’t surround yourself by it or do it yourself. We need to be around positive environments in order to be and stay positive. We need to always have that “can do” attitude about EVERYTHING in life! Look, life is short and we need to Carpe Diem!

Have you ever talked to an elderly person before? I mean a long nice conversation about their life and what their thoughts are now at the age they are? If you have (or like me, more times than I can count), there is always one thing they talk about and usually start of every sentence with…”I wish I would have…”. Oh and by the way, NOT “I wish I wouldn’t have…” (Unless they did something incredibly wrong.

The point is, that almost every single elderly person will tell all the things they wish they would’ve done, but now can’t do. They will tell how if they had more time they would…Or wish they could be younger to be able to…

Do you really want to be that age one day and think of all the things “you wish” you could’ve done and now can’t do? Life is short. There are NO do-overs, especially with age. There is no “I’ll get them next time” or “I’ll do it next time”. There is no next time. The time is now!

Please some of the quotes below and hopefully one or two or more will motivate you, especially to do things you haven’t done or things that you want to do. Please share this blog post with those around you, especially the ones that always make excuses. Who knows, this could change your attitude or even help to change the attitudes of the others around you. We hope that blog inspires you and if it does, please write us back and leave a comment telling us how this motivated you or someone around you!!!

Famous 9-11 Quotes

Can you believe it’s been 15 years already??? Time flies, but more importantly, quotes last forever. So here are some famous 9-11 quotes…

Our enemies have made the mistake that America’s enemies always make. They saw liberty and thought they saw weakness. And now, they see defeat. –George W. Bush, President of the United States.

Tonight, I ask for your prayers for all those who grieve, for the children whose worlds have been shattered, for all whose sense of safety and security has been threatened. And I pray they will be comforted by a power greater than any of us, spoken through the ages in Psalm 23: “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me.” –President George W. Bush September 11, 2001.

The attacks of September 11th were intended to break our spirit. Instead we have emerged stronger and more unified. We feel renewed devotion to the principles of political, economic and religious freedom, the rule of law and respect for human life. We are more determined than ever to live our lives in freedom. –Rudolph W. Giuliani. December 31, 2001.

The city is going to survive, we are going to get through it, it’s going to be very, very difficult time. I don’t think we yet know the pain that we’re going to feel when we find out who we lost, but the thing we have to focus on now is getting this city through this, and surviving and being stronger for it. –Rudolph Giuliani

We’ll have to deal with the networks. One of the ways to do that is to drain the swamp they live in. And that means dealing not only with the terrorists, but those who harbor terrorists. This will take a long, sustained effort. It will require the support of the American people as well as our friends and allies around the world. –Donald Rumsfeld, Press Briefing, September 18, 2001

I can hear you, the rest of the world can hear you and the people who knocked these buildings down will hear all of us soon.

George W. Bush
